MTP 300I-SIL
The fastest SIL2-certified thermocouple transmitter in the world. In high pressure processes like plastic production, in gas turbines and other application, the quick measurement of the temperature is a crucial factor. Especially in LDPE plants, in which rapid decomposition reactions are a dangerous and costly risk, several milliseconds play a significant role for detecting decompositions and preventing damage to the plant
The 2-wire temperature transmitter MTP300i-SIL-* has one, the MTP300-SIL-2* two galvanic isolated thermocouple-inputs. They have been specially developed for rapid temperature measurement in the hazardous area. Each TC-input is equipped with a Pt100 sensor for the cold-junction compensation. The thermocouple transmitter must be intrinsically safe supplied by a repeater power supply or with a ZENER barrier.
